River’s Shore Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a trusted provider of outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Conveniently located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, we offer care for adults age 18 and older who are battling addictions to opioids. Medication-assisted treatment is an evidence-based approach to treating opioid addiction that combines the use of prescription medication with counseling services. MAT has decades of research supporting its effectiveness, and the successful treatment outcomes it provides makes it one of the mostly highly recommended forms of opioid addiction treatment by medical professionals and organizations like the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). The medications used in MAT are all approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in opioid addiction treatment programs.
