Lawrence Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a premier outpatient treatment facility in Lawrence, Massachusetts, that offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid use disorder. MAT incorporates prescription medication and therapy. Adults who participate in MAT at our center may receive a prescription for methadone or Suboxone. These FDA-approved medications can alleviate withdrawal symptoms and opioid cravings. But medication alone cannot empower a person to make the lifestyle changes that support long-term recovery. That’s why MAT at our CTC includes individual and group therapy. During sessions, patients can address the influences that may have contributed to their struggles with opioid addiction and develop the skills and strategies that will enable them to resist relapse and remain in recovery. MAT patients can also receive education on living a healthy lifestyle and making choices that support their sobriety. At our facility, we understand that every person has a unique recovery journey.
