The Camp Recovery Center is a leading provider of drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation services for adolescents ages 14-17 and adults, including United States military veterans who are part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Community Care Network. Our nationally recognized residential treatment center is located near Santa Cruz in Scotts Valley, California. We also provide outpatient treatment in Scotts Valley and San Jose, California. The Camp’s compassionate care providers work together as a multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans for each patient, which can include services for co-occurring mental health concerns. Our staff includes certified addiction counselors, family therapists, psychiatrists, nurses, licensed therapists, and master’s-level clinicians. Whether you take advantage of our detoxification services, residential care, partial hospitalization program (PHP), or intensive outpatient program (IOP), our goal is to offer an effective, cutting-edge approach to addiction treatment that addresses the body, mind, and spirit. If medication is part of your treatment plan, our doctors and nurses can support you with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and medication management services as needed. In individual and group counseling, we may incorporate treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Conscious Recovery, and 12-Step meetings to help you get to the root of unhealthy habits. You may choose to participate in gender-specific or mixed groups. We also offer unique recreational and experiential therapies, many of which take place at our on-site swimming pool, hiking trails, and basketball and tennis courts. The Camp Recovery Center staff has seen the positive impact that an educated and supportive family can have on the recovery process. Each month, we offer separate multiday family programs for adolescents and adults. These programs can provide a safe space to examine current family dynamics and identify potential areas for improvement.
