Sonora Behavioral Health Hospital is a leading provider of behavioral healthcare for children ages 5-11, adolescents ages 12-17, and adults age 18 and older. Located in Tucson, Arizona, we offer short-term inpatient programs for crisis stabilization, as well as flexible partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. If you or a loved one is experiencing symptoms of mental health concerns, addiction, or co-occurring disorders, our multidisciplinary team of doctors, social workers, nurses, dieticians, and behavioral health technicians is ready to create an individualized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. Our mental health treatment program serves people who are struggling with concerns such as aggression, depression, psychosis, suicidal ideation, self-harm, conduct disorder, and more. Our electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) program can help minimize symptoms of mental health concerns such as mania, Parkinson’s disease, depression, psychosis, and schizophrenia. It can also help people who are experiencing symptoms of catatonia. While receiving inpatient care, you may participate in daily group therapy, individual consultations with members of your treatment team, and medication management services as needed. In addition to groups based on the 12-Step model of recovery, Sonora also offers skills groups, relaxation groups, relapse groups, and expressive art therapies. Group experiences may be based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). In groups, you can learn about topics such as coping skills, emotional regulation, interpersonal communication, self-care, nutrition, and healthy living. Our integrative treatment approach is designed to provide a well-rounded program that can address your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.Offering Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient services, a Partial Hospitalization Program, and our BRAVEST Program, which is designed especially for active duty and veteran servicemen and women, Sonora Behavioral Health is constantly on the verge of developing new services that address current mental health and substance use trends. In doing this, Sonora has been recognized by Optum as a Platinum inpatient provider of behavioral health services as part of the Achievements in Clinical Excellence facility measurement.
