Marvin Ventrell, JD became Director of NAATP in 2015, continuing his 30-year career as a lawyer, association director, teacher, and treatment executive. His career has been devoted to advocating for populations in need and building legal and health care system responses. He authored two textbooks, numerous book chapters, and dozens of professional articles. He has taught at medical schools, law schools, and agencies in the U.S. and abroad and served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of HHS. He has received numerous distinctions including an ABA National Advocacy Award and the University of Colorado School of Medicine Kempe Award.

Bob Ferguson is the founder of Jaywalker Lodge and Alpha 180 and served for over 10 years in senior management and business development positions at three of the premier residential programs in the addiction treatment field. Bob serves on the Board of Directors for multiple organizations in the Roaring Fork River Valley and is Board Chair for NAATP. Above all, Bob is most grateful for his own recovery from addiction which began in February 1992 at a wonderful four-month residential treatment program - one that would later serve as the inspiration for Jaywalker Lodge.
