This year’s conference is fast approaching and it is promising to be a great conference! The 2015 Conference will be hosted at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa located in beautiful Carlsbad San Diego – about 40 minutes north of San Diego. This year’s conference will feature leading speakers in the addiction treatment field, with a focus on spirituality, public policy and leadership topics to help treatment leaders improve their quality of care and success of their business. The weekend event kicks-off Friday May 15, 2015 with the NAATP Spirituality Summit PreConference. As in years past, the Annual NAATP Golf Outing will be hosted on Saturday May 16, 2015.
Activities will continue Saturday May 16, 2015 with the official kick-off of the 2015 NAATP Leadership Conference with an Opening Session at 4:00pm. The conference will run all day Sunday and Monday, with the last session ending Monday May 18, 2015 at 5:00pm.
**NAATP is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEPTM) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. Sessions for which NBCC-approved clock hours will be awarded are identified in the program bulletin. The ACEP is solely responsible for all aspects of the program.”
Following on the success of Adolescent and Young Adult pre-Conference summits held in 2013 and 2014, this pre-Conference event would run concurrently on the Friday before the NAATP Conference and address challenges and opportunities of integrating spirituality as experienced in 12-step recovery in addictions treatment at various levels of care. A particular area of emphasis is the application of historic 12-step principles and practices for patients with complex presentations that include addiction interaction and co-occurring physical, relational, and mental health disorders.
The one-day program would draw upon key leaders in spiritual care qualified to represent professional, integrated spiritual care services within a recovery-oriented multidisciplinary treatment team approach. It would provide opportunities for fellowship, networking and sharing of ideas and best practices.

With a slight change in agenda, the 2015 conference will begin Saturday night, May 16, 2015 and end on Monday evening May 18, 2015. This year’s agenda includes presentations from leaders specializing in spirituality and treatment, public policy efforts including parity enforcement and healthcare reform analysis, ethics and marketing specialists to help direct your business and so much more. Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are available for the 2015 NAATP Leadership Conference. The conference will be held at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA and will feature an exhibit hall with 100+ exhibitors. Last year’s conference resulted in over 500 leaders within with the treatment industry networking with our sponsors and exhibitors.
The cost for exhibiting remains the same as 2014’s conference: $1,500 for NAATP members; $2,000 for non-members. This cost includes two (2) complimentary conference registration tickets, as well as the table, 2 chairs, tablecloth, and wastebasket. The event begins with exhibitor set-up on Saturday May 16th at 12:00pm, and concludes on Monday May 18th at 5:00pm.

One of our focused changes for the 2015 NAATP Leadership Conference, was to create additional value to sponsorships and increase the networking opportunities. As a result, there are a few slight changes to our programming to help drive this vital communication.
One of the new features at the 2015 NAATP Leadership Conference, is the off-site dinner on Saturday May 16th (after the New Member reception). As many organizations host a dinner at our conference, we wanted to provide you the opportunity to host this dinner at a location that would otherwise be unfeasible. We have booked the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography for an exclusive setting to host a networking dinner. This dinner will feature high quality, catered fine dining meals, in the private setting of Southern California’s premier aquarium. The aquarium is situated on the cliffs of La Jolla, CA overlooking the Pacific Ocean in a picturesque setting. Featuring over 3,000 animals ranging from seahorses to sharks, this dinner opportunity offers you to have dinner with the fish, not just overlooking the fish. The aquarium features 4 different areas, including interactive displays, tanked animals, tidepools and a shark tank. Cost per plate is $100 or $1,000 per table. If purchasing a table, you are able to decorate the table as you would like and include giveaways on your table. You will of course have 10 seats available to giveaway per table. The Annual NAATP Golf Outing has become a much anticipated event in itself. This year’s Golf Outing will be hosted on site at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa, and will feature the Champions Golf Course. For the first time in the history of the outing, golfers will have the opportunity to when a brand new car as our Hole-in-One Prize. Featuring the premier 16th hole, which has become known as the “Tiger Woods hole” because of his epic playoff performance against Tom Lehman in 1997, the Champions Course features beautiful landscape, and playable terrain for golfers of all skill levels.
The Annual NAATP Golf Outing will take place on Saturday May 16th with a 7:00am breakfast and 8:00am shotgun.
Another feature of this year’s outing will be the enhancement of giveaways through our inaugural Tee Sponsorship. This year, organizations are offered the opportunity to not only sponsor a tee, but also set-up a table to provide the golfers with branded goodies, such as waters, Sport Drinks, golf tees / balls, etc. These sponsorships are limited, so if interested, register early. For those participating, this added feature provides you the opportunity to not only interact with various individuals throughout your round of golf, but also added value of nice goodies you get to enjoy and take home.
Of course, no Golf Outing is complete with a celebratory lunch and award ceremony for the winning teams and individual performances. So, lunch will be held on the deck overlooking the 18th hole of the Champions course.
